ABOUT

FINE CHISEL are a multi award-winning theatre company and band based in Bristol, led by director Tom Spencer.

We've hosted Shakespearean knees-ups in pubs, village halls, farms and railway arches (Midnight at the Boar's Head), flown a community choir through Yorkshire market towns (Icarus) and explored the story of the loneliest whale in the world in theatres across the UK and Ireland (Dumbstruck), amongst other adventures. And we've busked our way through scores of town centres and soggy fields.

WINTER TOUR COMPLETE

The premiere tour of Neither There Nor Here was a wonderful success. We popped up across Bristol, Bath and North Somerset with our new adventure about three travellers and their battle against creatures from Somerset folklore.

Thank you to our partners The Theatre Orchard and to Arts Council England for supporting the project.

Look out for summer dates.

FLYING THE NEST - summer 2016

We are looking for venues and partners for an initial tour of our new show for 3-6 year olds: Flying The Nest

After a fun few weeks in development, testing material with children in nurseries and primary schools, we presented the piece to industry delegates at the Egg Theatre's Incubator Showcase on 8th October. Please contact Tom if you'd like more details.
